Giving Thanks

Support the History Center during this year’s Give Local York and join us in the work of collecting and sharing the stories of York County’s history. The giving starts at 9 p.m. May 1 and continues online for 24 hours. Your gifts will help us care for our artifacts and offer free and low-cost programs for the community. Bookmark our giving page and come back on May 1 to donate! It’s 24 hours to make history. Let’s do this — together!
Happy Thanksgiving!
As we enter the holiday season, we’d like to share a few of the things we are thankful for here at the York County History Center.
Our Members and Contributors
The support our members and contributors provide makes it possible to deliver programs, events, and maintain preservation efforts throughout the year, ensuring the History Center remains a welcoming educational resource for our community.
Our Volunteers
The History Center is grateful for all the incredibly dedicated and passionate volunteers who helped throughout the year and ensured our annual events ran smoothly. Thank you to all of our volunteers!

Our Community
We are incredibly thankful to be located in such a wonderfully engaged community. We are grateful for all the community members who shared their personal stories, adding to our growing library and archives collections to preserve for future generations to discover. We are grateful to everyone that came out and made this year’s Art & Leisure, Oyster Festival, and Articles of Confederation Day a great success.
Our Board of Directors
The History Center’s Board of Directors works diligently to guide us as we continue to engage audiences near and far. We are so grateful for their continued dedication and support!
Our Friends
We are extremely grateful for all the tremendous work the Friends of the York County History Center does to support our programs throughout the year.
