Directions and Parking

Parking at the History Center

Located in downtown York, visiting the various sites of the York County History Center is easy! The History Center Museum, Library and Archives, Agricultural and Industrial Museum and Fire Museum each have a dedicated parking lot that is free for our visitors. If the lots are full, each museum has metered street parking (4-hour limit) or parking garages that are a short walk from our sites. Free parking at the new History Center Museum is available in a large lot behind the building. It may be accessed from Pershing Avenue, proceeding past the building and following the signs. The lot includes accessible parking spaces near the building. You may also park at the meters on Pershing Avenue and Philadelphia Streets or in two public parking lots within two blocks of the museum.
