The opening of the new History Center Museum, Library and Archives gives York a true best-in-class visitor destination. The community generously supported us to help make the project happen. And we still need your help: to store and care for our large collection of artifacts and archive materials; to maintain the historic buildings that we make available to the public; to pay the talented, experienced staff that manages the collections and provides the programming that are at the core of our work.

What is Give Local York?
Making giving history in York County! From 9pm on May 1 to 9pm on May 2, 2025, the The White Rose Leadership Institute is hosting Give Local York, a 24-hour online giving extravaganza. Each year the York County History Center has been fortunate to participate in Give Local York.
