The Articles of Confederation is one of the original founding documents of America. It created a guideline for the newly formed states to come together as a young nation and would later be replaced by the Constitution. We celebrate the Articles of Confederation here in York due to the nine months the Second Continental Congress spent here especially because they adopted the document on November 15, 1777.
