COVID-19 Update March 13

March 13, 2020

The York County History Center will be closing all sites to the public effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020.  All public events and special programs scheduled during that time have already been cancelled or postponed, please check our previous update page for those additional details.  The Historical Society Museum and Agricultural & Industrial Museums will reopen to the public on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, as circumstances allow.

We have made this decision based off incoming information from the CDC, PA Department of Health, Governor Wolf’s office, and for the safety of our visitors, volunteers, and staff.  During this time we will work on supplying you with information about York history and digital content via our social media platforms and website.  While you may not be able to visit us in person during this time, Your History Still Starts Here.

We acknowledge that additional changes may be on the horizon based upon the fluidity of the pandemic.  Please continue to check our website (www.yorkhistorycenter.org), Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for future updates.
