Saturday, July 19, is Keep PA Beautiful Day, and we’re looking for lots of helpers to work on volunteer projects. You will be doing cleaning, painting, repairs and more to the Colonial Complex sites in preparation for America’s 250th anniversary in 2026. This month in Episode 5 of Cabinet of Curiosities, we examine an unusual piece of women’s fashion. The disposable paper dress dates to a brief pop culture craze in the 1960s that was accidentally kicked off by Scott Paper, a company best known for its paper towels and toilet paper.
