COVID-19 Update April 28

The York County History Center will remain closed until the Governor begins reopening phases in York County.  Onsite programming and events scheduled for April and May will either be postponed or cancelled, but new digital content and history resources are being added to our website and social media every week.  During this time, we want you to be able to continue to enjoy learning about York history because Your History Still Starts Here.  We have created new resource pages, York History at Home and York History at Home for Kids on our website.  This page will allow you to take virtual tours, download coloring pages, read articles, and much more.  These pages will continue to grow as our team continues to work hard to bring this information to our community.

Once the reopening phases begin our team will take the proper steps set out by the Governor, PA Department of Health, and CDC to ensure the safety and health of our team, volunteers, and visitors.  Our team hopes to see you all again in person in June.  We will continue to update you as we move forward with this process.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time and we look forward to being able to see you all again in person!  Until then please enjoy our online resources while you stay home and stay safe.  We acknowledge that additional changes may be on the horizon based upon the fluidity of the pandemic.  Please continue to check our website (www.yorkhistorycenter.org), Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for future updates.
