Give Local York

May 1-2 is Give Local York! This is one of the History Center’s most important fundraising campaigns of the year. Here’s a taste of what you can do to help the History Center:

• Donate to a GLY matching fund in April. Just send a check payable to the History Center with Give Local York in the memo line, or make a contribution through our website here or using the button below.
• Visit The Handsome Cab in April for a custom signature drink to support the center, and come back May 1 for a History Center trivia night that will run from 7-9 p.m. That leads right into the start of Give Local York, and you can kick off the giving with a donation through the History Center’s Give Local York page here.
• Join us as a Fundraising Champion. Set up your own GLY fundraising page (it’s easy!), ask your friends to support the History Center (it’s fun!) and compete to be the top fundraiser (there are bragging rights!). Talk to Molly Lindquist, Membership Manager. 717-848-1587 ext. 226.
• Stop by the History Center for activities throughout the day (admission is free all day!) and during First Friday starting at 5 p.m. Look for updates here.
• Also on First Friday: The first public performance on our restored Tannenberg Organ!
