Writers’ Roundtable

The next Writers’ Roundtable meeting will be 7 p.m. Thursday, September 3.  Adriel Resh will present “Finding Liberators and Why it’s Important to the York Jewish Community.” She is director of Jewish Life and Culture at the York JCC.  Adriel is engaged in a multi-year project to locate and document York countians in uniform in World War II whose units liberated German-operated concentration camps in Europe. She has identified several of these servicemen, including at least one living liberator. She tells their stories and how she went about her research.
