Yorkfest returns Aug. 30-31

The Yorkfest Fine Arts Festival returns to the York County Rail Trail Aug. 30-31. Yorkfest will feature art exhibitions, a fashion show and an awesome Kids Lane, and artists and vendors will set up along the Rail Trail from Market Street to Princess Street. The Colonial Courthouse will be open for free tours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30. There will be no tours of the other Colonial Complex sites that day.

Articles of Confederation Day- Vendors

November 15, 2025 10 am to 3 pm Colonial Complex, 157 W. Market St, York PA Annually, the History Center celebrates the adoption of the Articles of Confederation at the replica Colonial Court House, a building constructed for the nation’s bicentennial in 1976. During the event reenactors mingle with attendees, trades people perform demos, live music is performed, and activities are offered for families. This year we are including a market fair element for attendees to purchase goods from vendors. We typically welcome 250-300 people during the event. If you are looking to do demos and reenactor please refer to our Articles of Confederation Reenactor form. Event Vendor Fee $50 by October 3, payment details will be shared with selected vendors.
