Join us at Second Saturday Aug. 9 for Living the Experience, an immersive Underground Railroad reenactment that brings Lancaster’s hidden history to life through interactive storytelling and first-person interpretation. This acclaimed program, housed at Lancaster’s historic Bethel AME Church, has captivated audiences from around the world with its powerful portrayal of the people and events that made Lancaster a crucial stop on the Underground Railroad.

The Friends of the History Center present Book Blast, one of their most popular fundraising events at the Agricultural & Industrial Museum, 217 W. Princess St. Saturday, June 7 is the last day for the event, which means it’s Buck a Bag Day — you can scoop up a bag of books for $1. Hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Book Blast is one of the community’s biggest used book sales, and it’s for a great cause — the History Center!
