Share Your Story: Covid-19

We are now witnessing a unique historical moment as our community responds to a pandemic. The York County History Center wants to add your story of how you and your family are understanding and experiencing the current “new normal.”

How has the pandemic affected you personally or professionally?

What changes have you experienced to your life?  What has changed for your family or your community?

Has the pandemic changed how you experience important life events – weddings, funerals, birthdays, etc?

Has this pandemic changed the way your think about or interact with your community?

COVID-19 is a national health crisis that is impacting each of us in different ways.  The York County History Center needs your help to document the impact this pandemic is having in our community through your stories. While we can’t preserve everything, we are interested in collecting personal stories, reflections, images, sound and/or video files throughout this challenging time.  These can be attached to the form below or recorded in video format.  We also hope to collect objects such as masks and signs, photographs, diaries, documentaries, and more relating to the COVID-19 outbreak.  It is important that our collections represent all people of York County.  Your story matters!

Please take a moment to share your stories with us. A selection of material submitted may be shared through the York County History Center social media accounts and submitted stories will be preserved in the York County History Center’s Library and Archives for future generations.

Please take a moment to tell us YOUR story!
