November 11 Second Saturday: A Sergeant’s Experiences

Drawing on the experiences of his father, presenter Steve Runkle will explain how a Marine Air Corps Squadron functioned and operated in World War II.  Steve’s father Bill Runkle, served stateside and in the Pacific Theater as a Sergeant in the Marine Air Corps. Steve Runkle is a volunteer speaker with the Susquehanna River Basin Commission’s Public Information and Outreach Program, presenting  on numerous topics related to local history.
